Structure and principle of anisotropic conductive type PCR®.

Grid type PCR®

Grid PCR® is a product including conductive micro particles aligned at regular intervals. Pressure on the top surface will cause a connection from top to bottom through the PCR® with no risk of shorting or leakage to surrounding particles. Areas with no force applied will not cause the contact through the PCR®.

※Removing the to surface pressure allows the PCR® to contract and stop the connection from Top to Bottom. The Silicon Rubber material will bounce back to the original shape as pressure is removed.

Random type PCR®

Random PCR® is a product including conductive micro particles aligned at random throughout the sheet.     It doesn't conduct between the top side and the bottom side without applying pressure.  To conduct the top side and the bottom side, as shown at the above figure, it's should be pressed the portion of Random PCR® where you want to conduct.

※Removing the to surface pressure allows the PCR® to contract and stop the connection from Top to Bottom. The Silicon Rubber material will bounce back to the original shape as pressure is removed.

Isotropic conductive type PCR® is the different charactristic from Random PCR® or Grid PCR® and is the product which conducts top side and bottom side without applying pressure. It's a special product which is available for the electrical connection in all direction by just touching with power pin.
